Plant Selection by Growing Tray:

Despite your efforts, it's normal for your aquarium water to take on a slight yellowish tint because some soil may remain among the roots.

For cuttings

For cuttings, you can use sphagnum moss, which won't tint your aquarium water. For certain plants like tomatoes and strawberries, you can opt for continuous flowering varieties available at your gardening center. This way, you can enjoy your favorite fruits and vegetables all year round.
